I am a researcher, writer and activist working on the problems of climate politics, the transition to a low carbon economy, climate displacement, degrowth and the commons.
I teach at the University of Essex, where my focus is on sustainability (or what’s left of it), political economy, innovation, and alternatives to capitalism.
I am a member of The Institute for Commons, the Centre for Commons Organising, Values Equalities and Resilience (COVER), and The Breakdown Institute.
As well as my own work, this pulls together writings and works with friends and comrades, as well as works with other collectives and organisations.
